What’s on at Redon?

Dear Redon friends,

Although none of us are farmers, all of us eat well!

We have much to be thankful for and we get an opportunity to express our gratefulness at our Harvest themed service on the first Sunday of October.

Eternal God,
you crown the year with your goodness
and you give us the fruits of the earth in their season:
grant that we may use them to your glory,
for the relief of those in need and for our own well-being;
through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord,
who is alive and reigns with you,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, now and for ever.

Harvest service Sunday October 6th at 10:30am

Deuteronomy 24:19 When you are harvesting in your field and you overlook a sheaf, do not go back to get it. Leave it for the foreigner, the fatherless and the widow, so that the LORD your God may bless you in all the work of your hands.

Food items:    We shall be asking for you to collect long life items for later donation to Secours Populaire

School Supplies:    Could we bring pens and pencils and other small school supplies to send to Madagascar schools with our Catholic friends, Marie Annick and Jacques who go there every year for two months to equip school children?

Money:    Could we bring small cash donations for Agnès to help with her daily needs?

Decoration:     Perhaps someone has fruits and vegetables they could bring to decorate the front of Church. This would be visual reminder of the bounty for which we are thankful.
